Following data breach, multiple stalkerware apps go offline

A stalkerware company has taken all of its assets offline with little explanation, in the wake of a compromise earlier this year.

In February 2025, three stalkerware apps — known as Spyzie, Cocospy, and Spyic — were compromised, exposing data from victims’ devices such as messages, photos, and location, and making them available for public viewing. 

The company also “gave up” 3.2 million email addresses of customers who bought and installed the applications onto their targets’ devices, according to Danny Bradbury, a researcher at Malwarebytes Labs.
