Nebraska representative’s Signal chat hacked by Russia, he reveals

Nebraska Rep. Don Bacon revealed on social media that his Signal chat had been hacked by Russia months ago.

Posting on X, Bacon said he had been notified of the breach by law enforcement and House cyber experts.

The Republican, who is a member of the House Armed Services Committee, noted in his post that Signal is not secure and is not a good choice for sensitive communications.
