FAA briefly halts JetBlue departures after system outage
The Federal Aviation Administration issued a ground stop for all JetBlue Airways flights early Tuesday at the airline’s request, preventing the carrier’s planes from taking off across its network for a little over an hour.
JetBlue later said in a statement that its operations had resumed, and that the disruption had been was caused by “a brief system outage” that was resolved.
The statement did not elaborate and representatives for the airline did not respond to follow-up questions.
