Minnesota schools closed for second straight day due to ransomware
Spring Lake Park Schools has cancelled all classes for a second straight day as it works to restore critical systems following a suspected ransomware attack.
According to an initial release from the district on Sunday, an outside actor gained access to some school district systems and staff immediately shut down all systems to prevent further access.
The response initially forced the cancellation of all classes, child care, community education and after school activities on Monday. That was extended today.
