Honeywell intel reveals industries most targeted by ransomware

During the fourth quarter, Honeywell documented in its Community Intelligence report that the most targeted victim industries were construction and manufacturing, each accounting for 21 percent of incidents.

The technology and healthcare sectors followed, each comprising 17 percent of the reported cases. Agriculture and food production represented eight percent, while the energy and transportation logistics sectors each accounted for seven percent.

Telecommunications was the least impacted sector in the report, making up three percent of the documented incidents.
