National Cybersecurity Alliance kicks off Cybersecurity Awareness Month
Cybersecurity Awareness Month is a global initiative that raises awareness about online safety and empowers individuals and businesses to protect themselves from cybercrime.
For more than two decades, Cybersecurity Awareness Month has been dedicated to teaching everyone how to stay safe and secure online. This initiative would not be possible without the collaboration and partnerships between the public and private sectors that built this campaign.
Join the National Cybersecurity Alliance as we kick off Cybersecurity Awareness Month 2025 with government and industry leadership to explore:
- The growing convergence of cybersecurity and national security, and what it means for the future of digital defense.
- Recent and emerging federal initiatives to secure our society and critical infrastructure.
- How cybersecurity professionals and the public sector can work together to address emerging technologies like artificial intelligence.
- How we can improve our nation’s resilience and defend our infrastructure against bad actors.
Every October, Cybersecurity Awareness Month teaches people simple ways to protect themselves online. This year’s theme, Stay Safe Online, is all about the simple ways to protect yourself, your family and your business from online threats.
Small actions can make a big difference. That’s why we’re focusing on the Core 4. Four easy steps anyone can take to boost their online safety:
