U.S.-Taiwan commercial ties

The Indo-Pacific Security Initiative (IPSI) of the Atlantic Council’s Scowcroft Center for Strategy and Security will host Taiwan’s Minister of Economic Affairs Ming-Hsin Kung for a discussion during his first official visit to the United States.

Deepening U.S.-Taiwan commercial ties — especially regarding technological innovation, industrial cooperation, and co-production — is key to strengthening economic security and resilience.

At this event, Kung will deliver remarks and sit down with an expert panel to discuss Taiwan’s role in global supply chains and the U.S.-Taiwan partnership.
