In February 2024, House leadership announced it was establishing the Task Force on Artificial Intelligence. Chaired by Representative Jay Obernolte, this bipartisan task force produced a comprehensive report in December 2024, confirming regulatory standards and congressional actions needed to protect consumers and foster continued investment and innovation in AI.
